Historia Las pretensiones centralistas del conde-duque de Olivares dieron un giro a la política de entendimiento con Portugal mantenida por Felipe II (1556-1598) y Felipe III (1598-1621). Pensó Olivares que la unificación peninsular sólo sería posible empleando la fuerza militar.
